Founder and CEO/CFO
Arabella began playing soccer at a young age, but stopped playing due to rising club fees. When she was 13, she began working as a soccer referee and futsal referee. Since then, she has officiated over 1500 games and earned the title of semi-professional referee and top futsal referee in the state of Minnesota. She has ambitions of continuing to eventually referee in the MLS and for FIFA competitions.
As a referee, Arabella has been very involved in the non-profit community and has seen many of the disparities that challenge access to soccer in the United States. This was part of her motivation to accept a position in the PhD in Public Affairs program at the University of Minnesota. She believes that soccer is a force for change and hopes to bring that passion to Snelling FC.

Ian James began playing soccer as a young kid in St. Paul, Minnesota, and quickly rose through the ranks of the youth game. He played the majority of his life at St.Paul Blackhawks. At just 13, he joined the Sporting Kansas City Academy, where he developed into a standout defender and team leader. In 2024, at age 16, he signed a professional contract with Sporting Kansas City, becoming one of the youngest players in club history to do so. Since then, Ian has appeared in 3 matches with SKC and made his senior team debut in the CONCACAF Champions Cup. Off the field, Ian is equally committed to personal growth—balancing his final year of high school with the demands of professional soccer. Ian played futsal his whole life. Often saying that it helped him get to where he is today. He believes there is lots of value in playing futsal and soccer together. With futsal you can gain lots of technical ability and it helps you read the game better because it’s so much faster. He loves to help in the community he grew up in and remains active in mentoring youth players. Through his own journey, he has become aware of the obstacles many young athletes face in accessing training and opportunities. Ian believes in soccer as a tool for empowerment and hopes to use his platform to help create more inclusive and equitable pathways into the game.
